Looking at the whole shoulder problem
Rotator-cuff symptoms are only one possible reason for shoulder pain. Assessment considers movement, strength, load tolerance, the neck and upper back where relevant, and the activities that provoke symptoms.
Progressive rehabilitation
Exercises are selected and progressed for your starting point, whether that is reaching a shelf comfortably, managing a physical job, swimming, throwing or returning to the gym. Treatment is adjusted in response to your symptoms and progress.

Do I need a scan for shoulder pain?
Not always. A clinical assessment is often the right first step. If your presentation indicates that imaging or specialist input may be helpful, this can be discussed.
Can physiotherapy help after shoulder surgery?
Yes. Postoperative rehabilitation can be planned around your surgical instructions, current stage of recovery and functional goals.
